While the name is new, the company is not. Genovex represents a brand refresh that recognizes our successful expansion from a specialist in heat exchangers into a fully integrated thermal energy solutions provider.
Why Genovex?
Built on the 20-year foundation laid by our founder, Steve Sammut, our business has grown significantly.
For years, clients have relied on our “Service is our Passion” motto. However, as we expanded into cooling towers with the formation of Evap X in 2012, and into boilers with the strategic acquisition of Boilertronix in 2024, it became clear that the name “Heat Exchangers WA” no longer told the full story of our capabilities.
As Steve Sammut, our Founder and Managing Director, explains:
“Genovex is simply Heat Exchangers WA, but more. We built this business on a reputation where service is a passion, not just a slogan. That DNA hasn’t changed. But with our long-standing partnership with Evapco and the recent acquisition of Boilertronix, we realised we needed a brand that reflected our full capability.”

The launch of Genovex brings our dedicated divisions—Heat Exchangers WA, Boilertronix, Evap X, and Heat X—together under one clear banner.
This is a “brands-first” strategy designed to keep the specialists you trust at the forefront.
Todd Alder, CEO of Genovex, emphasizes that this change is about adding strength, not removing expertise:

This means the same team that broke records turning around a 26-tonne T50 heat exchanger in 10 days is the same team now providing 24/7 support for your critical boiler and cooling infrastructure.

This brand refresh is backed by massive investment in local Western Australian capability. From our state-of-the-art, 4,000 m² headquarters in Beckenham, we are now the only workshop in WA operating two shifts to minimise downtime.
This operational scale, combined with Australia’s largest inventory of high-quality aftermarket parts, gives our clients an “Independent Advantage”—guaranteeing the fastest possible turnaround for every make and model. We are also investing heavily in our workforce, creating defined career pathways to ensure a new generation of multi-skilled technicians.
Continuity for Our Customers
While our look has changed, your service remains consistent. All existing contracts and service agreements with our individual companies will be honoured without change. You will continue to work with your established points of contact, who are now simply “Part of the Genovex Group”.
